Privacy Policy

Shum ("the App") is a private family tracking application built for personal use by the Shum family. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Data We Collect

The App collects and stores the following information, provided directly by authorised family members:

• Family member names, dates of birth, and roles
• Growth records (weight, height, head circumference)
• Foot measurements and shoe sizes
• Vaccination records and batch numbers
• Google account email address (for authentication)

How We Use Your Data

All data is used solely for family record-keeping purposes. We do not sell, share, or distribute any personal information to third parties.

Authentication

The App uses Google OAuth via Supabase for authentication. We only access your basic profile information (name and email) to identify you. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google services.

Data Storage

Data is stored securely in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. Access is restricted to authenticated family members only.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as the App is in use. Family members can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting the App administrator.
